The Chiarugi company was born in Trento in the seventies on the initiative of Mrs. Olga Chiarugi and her husband Ennio Giustini. With the experience handed down to the current owners Silvano Demattè and Claudio Paris and the continuous technological and design research, it has become one of the world reference points in the construction of accessories and machinery for the processing of double reeds. This was made possible thanks to the valuable contribution of the professional and loyal collaborators who over the years have joined the company.
There are three main sectors of activity:
- production of tools for working the cane, such as knives, pins, shapes, tabs, etc., a complete range of high quality and functional tools;
- production of brass and nickel silver staples, the largest choice of models in the world, made with unique machinery and procedures;
- production of accessories such as cases, micrometers and reed-holder tablets.
